[VIDEO] Radical Subjectivity
Available on 180g 12″ vinyl
Song is from the “Consumed” split with Distant Seconds, and a re-recorded version will be the title track for our second album. Video is edited from “In Order To Not Be Here,” Deborah Stratman. I do not own the rights to the video– if a rightsholder sees this and has an issue, please contact me and I will take it down. Her movie is a great ambient meditation on surveillance and fear in the suburbs.
MUSIC CREDITS:
Bryan Robison – guitar
Gerard Cosloy – guitar loops
Joe Frisbie – drums
D. Williams – guitar, bass, vocals
Recorded by Mike Vasquez at Sweatbox, June 2009
Mixed in about 45 minutes at Sweatbox.
RADICAL SUBJECTIVITY (Music ©2009 David Williams BMI)
When the revolution comes, who am I fooling?
When the revolution comes, who are you fooling?
When the revolution comes, you’ll be the first to go.
It’s a wave, it’s a particle
(You can’t stop it)
You’re a ghost, you are free
(You can’t stop it)
I would give you anything,
I’ve got this knife in my heart.
I’m writing your diary know,
Your life is flashing past my eyes.
[chorus]
I want to stand next to you;
You were standing in the stars
The planets orbit ’round their suns now
You’re on a ball of flaming fire.
